About Brummy Artist

Hi, I'm Sandra, the Brummy Artist. My love for nature's simple beauty blossomed early. Growing up, we had a fantastic hill in front of our house – perfect for rolling in fields of wildflowers (us local kids loved it!).

We'd spend hours making daisy chains in the summer sunshine.

Even in school, a fantastic teacher sparked our curiosity by having the whole class grow sunflowers and see how high they'd reach!

These experiences inspire my art today.

My prints bring those same happy, carefree feelings into your home.

I use gorgeous flowers to create uplifting and harmonious art, adding bursts of positive energy to your space.

(By the way, i'm the kid in the picture? I started enjoying the outdoors young ?.)

I'm a Birmingham girl through and through – yes, that's where the 'Brummy' comes from (and hey, sometimes a little creative spelling adds character, right?). Art has always been my passion, from school days through my studies in photography, textiles, and even swimwear!

The Brummy Artist really blossomed in December 2023. After a decade in the fashion industry, I found myself turning to art for peace and mindfulness during a tough time. Taking photos, drawing, painting and collaging  images of flowers in my garden and on walks sparked something in me. I knew those vibrant blooms had to be at the heart of my work – and that's how the Brummy Artist was born...
